Abigail Morrissey

I grew up on the East Coast and found climbing in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. I spent 8 months in South Africa as an Outdoor Educator and came home to work as an AMGA Single Pitch Instructor. After graduation, I spent two years working as a Wilderness Therapy Guide in Utah, living out of my Jeep and falling in love with the desert.

I have recently finished a Master's of Outdoor Adventure and Expedition Planning from Southern Oregon University and am currently the Climbing Center Coordinator at SOU. Teaching, climbing, writing, quality coffee dates and getting others outside take up most of my time. I hope to run an outdoor program with my degree, taking young adults and adolescents out for some preventative medicine in the wild.
