IFMGA / UIAGM Mountain Guide
Born in 1967 in the heart of the mountain, in Namche Bazar (Solukhumbu), I'm from the 1st senior group of IFMGA nepali guides. Merely 14 years old, I started my journey, trekking the high Himalayas. I have travelled to France in 1985 and worked in the mountain huts withing the French Alps.
Inspired by the French hardcore climbers, I later joined the mountaineering training provided by the NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association). Passion and determination led me to conduct more courses such as the International Mountain Rescue Course, Incentive Mountaineering training and Mid guide course from ENSA (Ecole Nationale de Ski et d'Alpinisme) in Chamonix, France. Seeing the importance of medical assistance I even took the training from IFREMMONT of France for mountain Medicine.
I'm the founder member and Vice-President of Nepal Mountaineering Instruction Association as well as member of Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA), Nepal Mountaineering Association, and Yves Pollet-Viillard Foundation in France. As a Chief Instructor, I have provided several trainings about mountaineering and rescue courses to the Nepalese climbers.
Please contact me if you wish to come to Nepal and let's discuss about your project. I guide also in Tibet and Buthan.
