I live in Máribor, Slovenia, and have been a climber for more than 30 years.
I have climbed over 1000 peaks, mostly in the Alps and the Dolomites. However, I have also extensively climbed in the Himalayas, Patagonia and Yosemite. I have been on many difficult ascents, many of them first ascents or during winter, including the eight-thousander Makalu (to 8156m). I received the Piolet d'Or award in 2007 for my first ascent of NW face of Chomolhari with Marko Prezelj.
I enjoy all types of climbing, but my favourite is free, alpine style climbing carrying minimal equipments.
I am a UIAGM/IFMGA certified mountain guide since 2004.
