I am based in Yuzawa, Niigata, one of the world's heaviest snowfall areas.
I started skiing as a child and began traveling to snowy mountains overseas in my teens. I started guiding in 2002. At university, I majored in landscape architecture and botany.
In winter, I offer snowshoe hiking and backcountry guide tours (using splitboards), and in the green season, I lead hiking tours. I can provide detailed information about the history, geology, and vegetation of the mountains. I create customized mountain climbing plans tailored to your needs and ensure safe and enjoyable tours. I also arrange local lunch boxes and dinners.
Yuzawa is just a 70-minute ride from Tokyo by bullet train. It is a hot spring town with over 800 years of history, where you can enjoy delicious food and sake, as well as the rich mountains.
