Dominique Bertrand

I have a strong passion for the mountains since I was very young. When I was 9 years old I did my first trekking with my father, and since then my life revolves around mountains, always focused on discovering new ones.

In 2012 I got my AGOCP-UIMLA trekking guide certification. I’m also certified as ECOMED and MINGAI first responder.

I work in the Peruvian Central Andes, especially in Cordillera Blanca, home of Peru’s highest peaks. I’ve also been to the Andes range in Ecuador, Bolivia and Argentina, and to the Nepali Himalayas.

When guiding, my main focus is to provide a top quality service to my clients, organizing trips with a proper acclimatization and adapted to each client and his possibilities.
