About Jose Luis Jurado
I have practiced sports for as long as I can remember. To me, there is nothing better than nature and the mountains, playing outdoors and making the most of every day. As a teenager I started doing some serious trekking, caving at first, then climbing, and nowadays I can’t count the number of summits I’ve reached all around Spain, in the Pyrenees, the Alps and the Dolomites. I enjoy both technical expeditions on ice and snow but also any kind of fun trip such as the Tour du Mont Blanc. I’ve also traveled all over the world and climbed some other summits in Africa and South America. I’ve completed my formal training more recently as I became certified by UIMLA (Union of International Mountain Leader Association), by AEGM and as a Canyoning Guide. I am an expert in maps, ground and risk analysis and I consider myself a very empathic person who can bring out the best in anyone. As a mountain lover, my motto is enjoying the path no matter the effort or the goals.
