I have been working as a guide for the past 13 years and am currently the president of the Graubunden Mountain Guides Association. I´m also an instructor at the Swiss Mountain Guide School where I train aspirant guides.
Mountaineering to me is more than a job. It combines some of the most rewarding things to me. It is a part of me. I believe mountaineering, and all the possibilities it opens, is a constant source of surprise and amazement. There is an incomparable feeling every time I ski or hike across unique natural settings: the sight of infinite impressions along a ridge-tour, riding through sacred untouched powder slopes, or passing close to a steep wall. The best part of this is that this feeling is constantly renewed, and having dedicated myself to this activity for a long time now, I can proudly say to you that I never get enough of it.
My main goal for every trip I guide is to reach that unique connection between a physical and a mental sense of achievement, and I hope to transmit that to all of my guests. Also, two key values that I like to focus on during the tours and courses are respect and trust: between me and my guests, and between all of us and the nature surrounding us.
I became a full time mountain guide in 2005. I have mostly worked across the Alps. I've since developed a wide knowledge of the area, its terrains and its secrets; both for the classic circuits, and for less-known places I have discovered myself over time. I want to share these with you and guide you through these unmatched places. Have a look at the trips available and contact me if you have any questions.
