Marco Lippuner

I am an UIAGM / IFMGA mountain guide living in Klosters in Switzerland. I was born locally in Prättigau in 1982, and the environment ensured my early discovery of the mountains. I started skiing and stood on my first peak at the age of 3, and trained and learnt a lot through the youth organization of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC). When I was a children’s ski instructor and a leader in the research group of the SAC, I realized that I found pleasure in guiding people in the mountains, and after years of training I became a qualified mountain guide in 2010.

Prior to becoming a full time guide, I have also travelled wide in the world with my skis and climbing gears to Norway, Australia, Thailand, USA and Argentina.

I am passionate about mountains and want to help people discover the joy of mountains in a safe manner. I am also happy teaching and guiding children and families with children - I teach avalanche awareness courses to children of age 10 and above as well.
