Mercedes Sánchez

I love nature, rocks, plants and animals. I am fascinated by the natural processes that are happening on our planet at all times.

I am a geologist and guide of Media Montaña with an international UIMLA credential. I work guiding in Gredos and training future mountain guides in the Environment module.

What I like the most about my job as a guide is meeting people and helping them enjoy Gredos, my home. I teach my clients about nature, our customs and our way of life, so they may connect intellectually and emotionally with Gredos.
