About Miriam Marco Sanchez

The story begins when your parents put you the skis when you are still wearing diapers, when you discover every summer the lakes of the Pyrenees, and after that you start going for the summits. When climbing and the feeling of freedom that comes with it gets you hooked, and there's nothing you can do about it. It continues when you choose your career following the name: Technical Mountain Engineering, in Lleida, close to the Pyrenees, and you start working as a ski instructor during weekends. And year after year, trip after trip, run after run, you start getting together with young mountaineers, and closer to the formation as a mountain guide. Expeditions, trips, some award and the constant formation and evolution are what built this long journey, which allows me to share the world that I love with others. And thanks to the works as a guide I can enjoy everything: the great moments that the mountain gave me, in the snow, rock or ice, and above all the moving feeling of realizing how small we are in the immensity of the summits.
