About Northstar Outdoor Adventure
Founded in 2001, NORTHSTAR runs as an outdoor adventure school. Our main activities include backcountry ski/snowboarding, ski/snowboard lessons, and mountain biking/hiking in the green season. All of our guides have studied internationally and can speak fluent English and Japanese. The owner, Ken, is certified in JMGA Hiking Guide Stage 2 and Ski Guide Stage 1. We offer guiding options mainly in Norikura Kogen, Nagano Prefecture, which is part of Japans Chubusangaku National Park. In the winter the snow is deep and soft. In the summer, the pristine wilderness is green and very quiet. We are located just at the foothills of Norikura with a ride array of natural terrain for all the activities. Our goal is to share life and the stoke of outdoors with all of our guests.
