About Ryusuke Nomura
I’m a JMGA certified mountain and ski guide and have been guiding in the central area of Hokkaido (Tokachi, Furano, Nissho Toge) since 2005. I was born in Sapporo, the capital city of Hokkaido, and as a result, have been skiing all my life, participating in moguls skiing and freestyle skiing competitions. I mainly ski on telemarks, and I enjoy backcountry skiing in remote areas with less people. In the summer, I spend most time in the river, and my favourite is river kayaking. Please join me in enjoying the nature of Tokachi area, where I am based through the seasons. I am very knowledgeable in the area and will try my best for you to have the best time in the outdoors, whether it be in the river in the summer, or in the powdery mountains in the winter!
