About Sergio Camacho Villalobos
I was born in Asturias (Spain), and grew up in the Sahara desert (villacianeros- dahala), where my passion for nature and adventure was born. I studied Physical Education in Madrid's INEF, and in 1998 I moved to Bariloche (Patagonia). There I became first a rafting guide, and in 2005 I was part of the first bunch of IFMGA-UIAGM certified mountain guides in Argentina. In the past 20 years I guided expeditions in the Arctic, Greenland, Svalbard, Iceland, Norway, Lapland and Patagonia, among others. And some years ago I discovered a new passion: sailing. I now combine sailing and mountain expeditions in my sailboat, the Siroco (Elan 431 Team).
