Toru Kawauchi

Hi, I’m Toru – a passionate mountain guide inspired by nature and the transformative power of trekking. I hold Stage 2 Trekking Guide certification from the Japan Mountain Guide Association (JMGA) and I’m a certified UIMLA International Mountain Leader. In addition to guiding, I’m also a certified professional career and life coach (PCC and CPCC) with over 1,000 hours of coaching experience.

My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself and discover the key to a vibrant life through mountain adventures.

My approach to guiding is based on three core values:
