Toyokazu Nakano

I am a JMGA-certified mountain and ski guide based in Myoko, Japan. My passion for the outdoors began early through the Boy Scouts, and I’ve spent decades improving my skills in guiding and teaching.

In the winter, I specialize in backcountry skiing, while in the summer, I guide mountain climbing, trekking, and sea kayaking trips. My experience also includes working as an avalanche safety professional, and contributing to mountain guidebooks.
