About Valerio Scarpa
An IFMGA certified mountain guide (among other things), I grew up in Mestre (Venezia), while climbing historic Venetian towers and walls during the 1980s. I've always used climbing and skiing as an excuse to travel and have been lucky enough to visit Norway, Sweden, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Morocco, Greece, Nepal, India, Kenya, Turkey and many other wonderful spots. Married to Elena and father to Filippo, Nicolo and Mattia, I'm forever faithful to...my van, with which I share a large part of my life!
