Vicente Ruiz

I've been practicing mountaineering for more than 30 years, always in the Andes, Cordillera Blanca, Cordillera Real and Patagonia. I was born in Santiago (Chile's capital city) but I've chosen to live in the mountains, close to a National Park and a ski resort. I also enjoy guiding in the volcanoes in southern Chile because of their incredible beauty!

My programs include accommodation in my beautiful and rustic cabins in a small village, so you'll also be contributing to sustain the local economy. Taking care of the environment is also a key element of my job and it is very important to me.
