I was born in 1978, and I discovered the fascinating world of the high mountain very early, in Valais. I'm a Geographer, specialised in mountain space management in the Alpine Geographical Institute at Grenoble. I then worked for 3 years as a researcher in Geneva University, studying tourism and sustainable development in the mountain. Always looking for large spaces, I became passionate about traveling by foot, snowshoeing or skiing in the massifs of the world. From Iceland to Patagonia, from Greenland to the Andes Range, from Poland to Ethiopia, I take pleasure in surveying these high territories. In 2007, the nomad call took me to an integral crossing of the alpine arc during 5 months, by foot and in solitary. This adventure led to a documentary film and to writing a book. Eager to convey my passion for traveling and trekking to a varied public, I became a Hiking Guide. Other than this activity, I teach, give conferences and I am a specialised journalist.
