About Xavi Zapater
**Mountain Guide (UIAGM) from Catalonia** I’m a mountain and canyoning guide. I live close to Barcelona, but enjoy exploring new detinations. I’m not a big fan of crowded mountains and very commercial routes. I like dealing with people and sharing my knowledge. I usually work as instructor in alpinism, climbing and ski courses, and first aid courses for emergencies. My favourite climbing spots are Montserrat massif, near Barcelona, and the Pyrenees. Both are climbing paradises, and the Pyrenees also has great opportunities for ski mountaineering and alpinism. I’ve also worked as a guide and trainer for blind people.
