About Juan Zaldivar
I moved to El Calafate in 2001 and very soon I started practicing mountain activities, including rock climbing, skiing, hiking and trekking. In 2007, I began to work in the mountains as an assistant guide in Perito Moreno. I finished my trekking guide course in 2011 and then, in 2015, I completed the following course to become a Mountain Guide. I manage Zetatrek, a guiding company offering hiking and trekking trips in El Chaltén and Los Glaciares National Park. I work together with a group of guides, so if I'm not available to guide you, one of my colleagues will do it. All the guides in the team are professionally certified, and hold the required permits to guide.
